The Hangover

I saw The Hangover last night.

Jon has been wanting me to see it for a while now. I normally do not like movies that Jon likes (such as Talladega Nights) cuz they are stupid and I find it hard to sit through stupid movies. That is unless Vince Vaughn is in it.... (4 Christmases)... not sure what it is about him.......

Anyway, I was finally willing to watch it because it won a golden globe. Speaking of golden globes...

Halle Berry looked amazing

and so did Penelope Cruz

and I don't think they were talked about enough.

I also liked Lea Michelle from Glee

and I thought Fergie looked cute.

Jennifer Garner looked nastier than usual,

Kate Hudson's dress was stuffed with so much shit on top that she looked flatter than ever!

And Tina Fey...... ew. What was she thinking?

Anyway, I have to admit that The Hangover was definitely a very funny movie (except for the tazer part... that was stupid) and I actually think that Bradley Cooper is totally hot... never thought he was till I saw his tan abs.

Before seeing movie: (Yeah, whatever..... wouldn't look twice)

After seeing his awesome abs: (woo baby! it's getting hot in here...)

This is actually not from the movie. But if you watch it, there is a scene when he wakes up in the morning wearing only pants.... and if you weren't a Bradley Cooper fan, you will be.

Just one question.... why show the nasty guy's ass so much? And in the end, in the pictures from Vegas... his everything. They couldn't show Bradley Cooper naked????? I mean come on! They did the same thing in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We want to see the hot guys or nothing at all, but definitely not the nasty ones! Especially not the ass of the old man in the ER!!!! They showed tons of super hot girls in teeny bikinis and some with less on.... I did not see one fat chick naked. (Thank god.)

SO in conclusion, Hangover producers, next time make it sexy nudity or just leave it out. I cannot get the vision of Alan out of my head. And trust me I've tried.

Wife Of The Year?

I think I might be up for the Wife Of The Year Award! Jon was out monday night 7:15- 9:45 (doesn't really count only kinda because he was at conferences instead of me), went to a Blackhawk's game tuesday night from 5:30 -10:50 (!!!!!), going out to a Bull's game tonight, and is going out of town this sunday till tuesday. Come on, wife of the year award? I think so!!!!!

Oh, and not to be braggy but last night, homework was done by 6. We ate dinner together, got little kids bathed and big girls showered, little ones were asleep by 7:56, and by 8 I had thrown in a load of laundry, gotten into pjs, and sat down to watch my favorite show with my favorite girls....

Biggest Loser was soooo motivating last night. I was actually crying!!!! Watching them run that marathon was so emotional and moving. I know that I am going to be so excited when I finish the half marathon! My friend called me and told me that she totally wants to run a full marathon now (she ran a half last year). I told her that if I could run the entire 13 miles, I'd train for the full with her for next year's.

Blah , blah, blah, marathon, marathon, marathon.... I'll stop now.

Did you ever see a movie that you read the book of, and felt like you had actually seen it before. I watched Angels and Demons the other night and could have sworn I had seen it before. Jon said there is no way I have because it just came out on dvd and we didn't see it in the theater. Crazy that the book is so descriptive and has such good imagery that I felt like I had seen it before!

Which brings me to the sad truth that I can't remember the last time I read a book. I read a few pages here and there but never seem to have time to read a whole one! Does anyone have any suggestions? I need the kind that you can't put down, that you stay up all night to read.... like the Time Traveler's Wife. Loved that one. Or A Child Called It. Or those Jodi Picoult goodies.
My brain needs some stimulation, hasn't been used in a while.

A Blast From The Past

I just caught the end of Can't By Me Love... I loved that movie! I more than loved that movie! I'm sure you've all seen it. Cindy Mancini needs 1000 bucks to replace her mom's stained outfit... takes the money from Ronald Miller, school geek, and agrees to "date" him for a month.

OK, there aren't even words to describe my love for this movie. Cindy was the coolest girl*.... Her Volkswagon Cabriolet.... I so wanted one. I can't even tell you how many times my sister and I imitated the African Anteater Ritual he did at the school dance. Or pretended we were a drunk Cindy telling everyone the truth after Bobby dumps her on new years eve... How I loved the white outfit she borrowed from her mom... just loved it all.

*it's actually really funny watching it now... her hair is crimped and frizzy, the clothes are ridiculous.... you gotta love the 80s.

And to think that this guy:

could turn into this guy:

Oh, and while googling pictures from the movie I came across this:

I guess this is her also... who knew? I loved this movie too. Can't think of what it was called..... anyone know? She was the tomboy that liked the guy that she was helping to get another girl... oh and then there was that hot guy at the party..... does anyone know what I'm talking about???

I think I have to go back and revisit all these goodies....

Like.....

Heathers
Dirty Dancing
Pretty Woman
Top Gun
Ferris Beuller
Back to the Future
Karate Kid
Ghostbusters
Grease 2
Beaches
Footloose

the list goes on and on....
