Beware Of Cats

I was in my kitchen getting Alyssa a drink yesterday afternoon, when out of the corner of my eye I saw something black in my backyard.

I looked out the window and right at the steps of my deck a big, black, long haired (and this hair/fur was sticking straight out!), gross cat pounced onto a baby bunny.

It killed it.

And ran away with it.

Oh My God! I have never seen anything that disgusting in my life!

I went outside to make sure it wasn't eating it somewhere in my backyard. The last thing I wanted to see was little baby bunny remnants on the grass outside. Seriously, the thought of it makes me kinda sick.

Well, that's my story of the day. Hope you weren't eating lunch when you read it.....

Squirrel Porn And My Car

I woke up to some squirrels getting busy on my deck. Squirrels, get a room. Or a garbage can.

In other news, I got a flat tire on wednesday afternoon.



It couldn't be changed by roadside assistance, so thursday morning they towed my car to the dealership.

I hate not having my car. I was miserable all day. Jon worked from home so I could have his car



to take kids to camp, go grocery shopping.... but as nice as it was of him to do that, I really hate driving his car. It's a stick shift, and it's small, and hot, and hard to get Alyssa in and out of, and there is not so much room for groceries and stuff.... Seriously I might be the biggest brat in the world, but I would like his car much better if it was not stick. Plus, I was trying to talk to my sister on the phone and stalled on a major street when the light turned green and a guy in an 18 wheeler yelled, "If you get off the phone you won't have to worry about popping the clutch." So I guess that also might be why I don't like to drive his car.... too hard to talk on the phone. Plus I can't put the top down when I have Alyssa with me. Anyway, I did walk more today not having my car and all, so that's a plus.

Anyway, I got my car back thursday evening, and I've never been happier! They washed my car and it was so clean and shiny, my seats felt so comfortable, it was so big and spacious. Aaaahhhh... I love my car!
